I finally checked on our garden today after three weeks of neglect. You see, I’m a “plant and pray” kind of gardener. Plant it and pray it all works out.
That’s pretty much how I parent too: I sprout ‘em, let them run wild, and hope for the best.
So, far it’s working well with the strawberries…
The onions seem to like my style.
No complaints from the swiss chard.
The kale seem content.
Cool as a cucumber…
Did you know you are supposed to let asparagus grow wild?
For three years you shouldn’t touch it…
…and let if fern out. After three years considered “mature.” Kind of like kids. One day they are running wild, and the next day they are all grown up.
I couldn’t help take a picture of our lilac trees.
Or my favorite azalea bush…
If only the flowers lasted longer…they grow up before your eyes before you know it they’re gone.

That is an awesome garden you got goin on there! Nice job (even though you say you dont do anything to it) ; )
Thanks! I try my best to let mother nature do its thing :)
