Foto Friday (or video, close enough!)
Uggg! I want someone to explain to me why youtube insists on choosing the most ridiculous still shot for the “cover.” How about the first frame when I don’t look like I’m surprised a fly just flew in my mouth?
Here are the other two options youtube game me. Equally frightening. If someone know the answer, please be so kind as to email me.
Now, as for the video, it is about Synchrodestiny: the idea that nothing in life is a coincidence. Getting my video-legs back on, so I promise they won’t all be 5 minutes long! I just got on a roll…

beautiful, wonderful words! I will keep this close to heart as I go about my days…thank you again for an inspiring post :)
Thanks, Anna. I’m so appreciative of your support and comment :) xo
Ok, I’m going to give it a try! How great that you’re going to that retreat in celebration of your birthday. Keep us posted! (And don’t worry about your YouTube static shots – nothing can make you look bad, girlfriend!)
Barbara, thanks so much for the nice words :) I am SO thrilled to be going and you can count on me filling you in on all the details! xo Lina
1) NO WAY do have skin like that at (almost) 40. Screw youtube and its stills, it’s just jealous.
2) Thanks for this message. Is it any coincidence that I really needed to hear it today? I think not.
God love you. Is it any coincidence that I needed to hear this today? No way. Having a hard day and I totally needed that :).thanks!
Because it shows how beautiful your eyes are.
Thanks :)
Can’t wait to hear about the retreat. Have you read his sons book- Walking Wisdom- by Gotham Chopra ? It’s very good, funny and you hear what Deepak is like as a father.
I will have to read it after the retreat and compare! I can’t even imagine having him as a father, can you?

Happy Birthday Lina! I have been away from your blog for a bit, dealing with life, but I am happy to hear you are doing something amazing for your 40th.
These posts above mine are telling the truth, you do look amazing on camera (meant in the sincerest possible way). You could start a career as an anchor or have your own show with your intellegence and good looks. If that is something that you have ever thought about, then a few more Utube videos sent out to the right people could make it happen.
Just food for thought Girl, I hope you have a fantastic Birthday!
Oh, Jimmy, that is so darn sweet! Maybe someday:) How’s lie going? Father-in-law ok? Any trips to Brazil? I’m headed for ANOTHER rainforest trip in May – this time to Peru. Official school trip for my oldest. Anyhoo, take care and thanks for the kind words!
Thank you so much Lina for the sweet words. The Father-in-law is doing great now, and it looks like we are getting a nice little 17 year old nephew to come and live with us for a few months while he goes to school. They are just finalizing the Visas now. I have known him since he was 6, nicest little super blond boy you could meet. So our trips to Brazil are on hold for a bit.
We do have a major European trip planned, with Paris the central focus, for next year when my daughter turns 10. This trip will be amazing, with all I have learned about europe in my travels. (and of course, I will be doing my own traveling in the meantime ; ) )
That is so amazing you are doing another Rainforest trip! I am really happy for you. I think I love travel to new and interesting places above most else in this life. It will be an amazing experience.
Glad you had a Fantastic Birthday, and Thank you for you Blog here, I really enjoy it!
So glad to hear your father-in-law is well! Have an amazing adventure with you 10-year-old! I’m jealous! I completely agree with you…travel is above all my love.
