Help, I’m Cleaning and I Can’t Stop!
This time every year I get obsessed with cleaning and organizing
It usually starts because I switch my family room couch Slip Covers (<– remember?). It is such a freaking nightmare – I find more food under the cushions than in my pantry. And I don’t even let those little bastards eat in there. Obviously, they know that, because I also discovered a half-eaten lolly pop adhered to a back pillow, likely a result of a quick food abortion (because none of my kids would abandon candy willingly).
So, I’m at it again
The basement is next. (This is what my basement cleaning conjured up last time) I’m not sure when I’ll come up for air, so I thought I would give you a warning that I’m in my manic cycle. And when I’m manic, I can find an unbelievable amount of junk to deal with. These old pictures from spring cleaning a couple years ago even shocked me. How do I collect so much crap?
Hopefully, I’ll have some good pictures like these clean closet ones to share with you.

There’s something so theraputic about cleaning – you’d think I’d do it more. Having just moved, I had a great opportunity to clean a bunch of clutter, so I feel your joy/pain.

While I love when things are tidy and clean, there is nothing I hate more than cleaning and nothing at which I’m worse than organization. Can you come to my house and help me?
You know, I don’t get great satisfaction from cleaning – like toilet bowl cleaning – but throwing stuff away and organizing is amazing. I’ll come over and we can have a purge fest at your house!
