Indulge Me One More Time…

When you signed up for this blog, did you realize that you would be subject to never-ending photos of my children?

I know it is a bit obnoxious, but I’ll tell you my secret.  I am using this as a digital record of my family life so when my children wonder where their hand glued childhood scrapbook is, I’ll tell them to subscribe…

Basically, all evidence of my children’s life ended after they turned 2 years old. I have thousands of digital photos in my computer that may stay there forever if I can’t figure out how to do an iPhoto book.

The last rainforest posts didn’t have enough of my darling first born child. And I think he is too cute to not share with you.

He is completely clueless about girls at this point, (not complaining) and has yet to hit the awkward pimple, hairy stage, so I need to take advantage of this time.

(He may be clueless, but he did notice how the bare chested natives precarious straw tops flapped openly during the dancing…)

It’s only a matter of time when this boy flies the coup. He is my most demanding child, so I may welcome the day. With a tear of relief that I didn’t kill him.

Who know how many more mother-son trips we will have in the future. I have to mint this precious time while I can! Thanks for enduring it with me!!! Have an amazing weekend!

  1. I will never tire of photos of your beautiful family! Thanks for posting these. This is SUCH a precious time, before the next chapter, which will be full of interesting challenges, I am sure!

What an experience. You’re a smark cookie, you’ll make masterpieces with all your photos, I am sure! The Mac’s got your back. ;)

I will always hold a special place in my heart for max! I remember my first visit to meet him and crying at the airport when I had to leave. He is a beautiful boy! I love that you had such a special experience with him. Don’t worry- he will go through that awful stage but he will come out of it. We did!

I know you are right, and I can see it happening before my eyes. He is really growing into a wonderful, mature (dare I say) man!

Some of these look identical to our Brazil pics, but with a different boy! I love seeing your motherhood adventures, both here and abroad. And I love Max’s Mizzou T-shirt. = )

The jungle looks very similar, really. Some of the parts we went to were more hilly that what was in Brazil, but otherwise very close!
